Are the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse Riding Now?

Plagues of locusts, volcanoes, deadly hornets, and the Rona. Current events headlines read like the Book of Revelation, and some are exclaiming, This is it, the Apocalypse! (to quote Imagine Dragons). But is it in actuality? Are we living in the days when we can expect to see the Second Coming of Jesus Christ?

Four characters associated with the Book of Revelation are colloquially called the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. They appear in Revelation chapter 6 as Jesus opens the first four Seals of a scroll many scholars believe to be the title deed to the earth. The Horsemen represent conquest, war, famine and death. But are they riding now? Are we living in apocalyptic times?

By Biblical definition, we’ve been living in the last days since Jesus’ first advent.

“God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds” (i.e. the ages)…

~Hebrews 1:1-2 (italics added for emphasis)

In his famous Olivet Discourse, Jesus gave His Apostles signs to look for as His Second Coming drew closer. Interestingly, the signs He gave line up with the Four Horsemen.(1) The false Christs Jesus predicted (v. 5) coincide with the white horse rider – he mimics Jesus, Who when He returns will be riding a white horse (see Rev. 19:11-13). Jesus prophesied of wars and rumors of wars, and the rider on the red horse takes peace from the earth. In Matthew 24:7 Jesus mentions famines, and the third seal depicts famine conditions where a man will work all day and only be able to buy enough food to feed himself. All of these result in Death, the rider on the pale green horse.

“All these are the beginning of sorrows,” Jesus says (Matt. 24:8). The word “sorrows” means birth pangs, the pain a woman endures before and during childbirth. What Jesus is saying is that these events will happen until His Second Coming, and as the time for His return gets closer, they will increase in both frequency and intensity, just like a woman’s contractions before she gives birth.

So are the happenings listed in the beginning signs of Jesus’ soon return? Yes and no. They are, because Jesus said they would happen until He returns. But we should also expect them to get worse. As Jesus continued in His discourse, He described a time so bad that it would be like no time before, and there will never be another like it (v. 21). So cataclysmic would that time period be, that if Jesus Himself had not cut them short, no one would be left alive (v. 22).

How should we respond? That depends on who you are. If you are a Christian reading this, then your duty is two-fold. First, we are to continue to preach the Gospel to the lost. Jesus said the end would not come until the “gospel of the kingdom [would] be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations” (Matt. 24:14). Second, we are to live Godly lives as we await Christ’s Coming. Peter writes in his second epistle,

“But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.”

~2 Peter 3:10-14

Since we know that this world is temporary and is going to end, we should live for that which is permanent: the Kingdom of God in the new heavens and the new earth where the righteous will dwell forever.

But if you are not a Christian and reading this, how should you respond? In regards to the new heaven and earth, the Apostle John writes, “And I saw a new heaven and a new earth…But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.” (Revelation 21:1, 8) I guarantee you fall somewhere on this list. You may not have murdered someone – although, 1 John 3:15 says that if you hate someone you’re guilty of murder – but I guarantee you’ve told a lie. If you’re not a Christian, then you’re an idolater, worshipping a false god, whether it be yourself, or any other object of worship that isn’t the Biblical God. And since you’re guilty, you’re deserving of eternal punishment. “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 6:23). Death and hell are what each of us deserves due to our sin, but God is merciful and provided a Savior, His Son our Lord Jesus Christ. He lived a perfect life never sinning, so when He died on the Cross, it was a substitutionary death on behalf of everyone who would ever believe in Him. Jesus, as a willing sacrifice, received the just penalty for our sin, and then He rose from the dead forever defeating sin, death, hell and Satan. What’s required of us is to repent of our sins, and place our trust in Him. If we do that, not only do our sins get imputed to Christ, but His righteousness is imputed to us. This means that God can now allow us into His heaven because He now sees us as if we lived Christ’s sinless life. So repent of your sins and trust Christ alone to be your Savior.

“God…commandeth all men every where to repent: Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.”

~Acts 17:30-31

1 As we would expect since the central Character is the same in both passages: Jesus is the One speaking in Matt. 24 and He’s opening the Seals in Revelation; and since all of Scripture ultimately has one Author, the Holy Spirit.

The Baphomet Agenda EXPOSED

With the 2015 Supreme Court decision in favor of homosexuality and the ongoing practice of abortion – together with the emerging agenda of transgenderism – many think our country is headed to hell in a handbasket. (1) Meanwhile, others applaud the direction our culture is going. If you’re reading this, and you agree with what our country is becoming, I hope to show you whose side you’re actually on. Although, whether you agree with where we’re headed as a nation or not, I hope to point to the root of the problem.

The homosexual agenda, transgender agenda, transhumanism, and even the pedophilia and bestiality agendas, (2) all have their root in one entity: Baphomet, the androgynous, goat-headed deity worshipped by Satanists and occultists of all flavors, including the Knights Templar and the Freemasons. Also known as the Goat of Mendes, the image of the Baphomet comes from occultist Eliphas Levi’s depiction of the devil. In my opinion, it/he is the root of all these agendas (and more!).

The Homosexual Agenda

There is nothing explicitly in the Baphomet image that pushes homosexuality per se, but the mentality, or the spirit behind the image does. We will tackle this later in this post, but the zeitgeist behind the Baphomet is a do-what-you-want, don’t-let-anybody-tell-you-what-to-do, push-and-cross-boundaries-without-considering-the-laws-of-God type of attitude. Essentially, it is one of rebellion. God created sex and defined that it should be between one man and his wife. Not only is homosexuality not between a man and his wife, it’s not even between a man and a woman! Romans 1 describes the degression of a mind hostile to God:

“For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient…” (v. 26-28)

The chapter continues on to list more sins. The depravity described here is represented by the image of the Baphomet; it is against nature, a combination of things that don’t mix. Just as homosexuality is an unholy mixture of genders that don’t naturally go together.

The union of entities that don’t belong together will be a common thread throughout this piece because that is the main thrust of the Baphomet. Including the ones we will explore, the Baphomet is also a union of opposites like light and dark, black and white, and up and down, among others. Continue reading

After School Satan Clubs EXPOSED

And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove (expose) them.
Ephesians 5:11 KJV

Please excuse the picture to the left.

“I thought this was a blog run by Christians, what is the logo of the After School Satan Club doing there?!” you may be wondering. “Are they promoting the clubs?” God forbid! My purpose in posting the picture is not to bring undue attention to Satan, the Satanic Temple, or to this club, but to expose some of the Satanic symbolism in the logo so that many are not deceived, being ignorant of Satan’s devices (2 Cor. 2:11). Many of the clubs’ spokesmen, an offshoot of The Satanic Temple, claim they don’t actually worship Satan, but that he is merely a symbol of rebellion against “arbitrary” authority, not an actual being.

I believe the symbolism in this picture says otherwise. I pray this article be used for good and not evil.

First, look at the figure’s left hand. The sign it is making is known as the Sign of the Benediction. It can be seen in early “Christian” (read: Roman Catholic) art from the Byzantine and Medieval periods, but the gesture itself precedes those eras. In pagan circles, the gesture is known as the mano pantea and was used as a charm against the “evil eye.” It invoked the protection of the “parental spirits” Isis and Osiris. Could this indicate the removal of the children from the protection of their parents and placing them under the “protection” of the demonic entities Isis and Osiris? If that is even a remote possibility, then it is the duty of parents and adults to protect the children.

In art, either Christ or the saint depicted performs the sign with their right hand, but the figure in the above cartoon logo is making it with his left. This means he is not actually pronouncing a blessing (benediction) but a curse. Moreover, the left hand has always been associated with Satanic worship and the dark side of the occult, which has often been referred to the “left hand path.” The right hand path is representative of Satanism masquerading as Christianity, but the left hand path signifies open Satanism – black magic as opposed to white magic. The left hand path is also symbolized by the inverted (upside-down) pentagram, as seen in the bottom left corner (our left) of the image.

While its left hand is pointing upward, its right hand is pointing downward, an allusion to the occultic mantra, “as above so below.” This is a key phrase in the occult, and all systems of magic are said to be based on this incantation. The formula reads, in part: “That which is above is the same as that which is below…The universe is the same as God, God is the same as man…” Man is thought of as a reflection of God in heaven, and God as a reflection of man on earth. As we become more self-aware, more in tune with our higher consciousness, it teaches that we awaken to the realization that we are gods/God. This is the same lie the Serpent told Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden.

“And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.” (Gen. 3:4-5)

The Serpent was proven to be a liar. When Adam and Eve ate the fruit, they did die; they immediately died spiritually, as a result of their separation from God. Eventually, they died physically without ever becoming gods. This is why Jesus said Satan was a murderer from the beginning (John 8:44).

Next, notice the spiral in its right eye. The spiral represents development, change over time, or the slow revelation of things hidden. New Age websites explain how we change and develop as we age. In light of this, I find it interesting that they include a spiral in the logo of a program directed towards children. This could indicate the secrets of Satanism are progressively revealed to the children as they grow older. The Satanic Temple claims they will not actively proselytize children to Satanism in these clubs. That may or may not be true, but if the child is interested in learning more about Satanism, I believe the facilitators are both able and willing to lead them into the “depths of Satan” (Rev. 2:24). These clubs were founded to counter the Good News Clubs (GNCs) (which should automatically tell the reader whose side they are actually on) because the Satanic Temple claims GNCs “indoctrinate” (read: evangelize) children. I believe this spiral indicates they will brainwash these children, albeit deceptively. The After School Satan clubs serve and will serve the purpose of desensitizing children, subtly indoctrinating them into Satanism.

The fact that the spiral is in the right eye is also significant. It is a sign of the Antichrist. Zechariah 11:17 says, “Woe to the idol shepherd that leaveth the flock! The sword shall be upon his arm, and upon his right eye: his arm shall be clean dried up, and his right eye shall be utterly darkened.” The figure’s right eye is “darkened”, meaning the eye is not functional and cannot see, just like Zechariah’s prophecy of the Antichrist. In many of the pictures where an individual (many times a celebrity) is covering one of their eyes, it most often will be their right eye, showing their allegiance to the Antichrist and his system.

There’s so much more symbolism to expose. Like the Baphomet – their depiction of the devil; the duality represented by the black and white picture; the esoteric symbolism behind the graduation cap;  their use of the candy cane to seduce children, while actually giving them a curse, and so on. But I think I have presented enough information to show that The Satanic Temple is not to be trusted and to caution public school systems against allowing these After School Satan clubs into their schools.

Lastly, why should we believe them when they say they don’t worship the devil? Why else would an organization like this call itself by the name of an entity it claims to not even worship? Doesn’t Jesus unmask Satan revealing him to be a liar by nature, a master deceiver, and the father of lies (John 8:44)? Can we therefore really expect his followers to tell the truth? Obviously not.

And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.
2 Corinthians 11:14‭-‬15 KJV

Other Satanists like Aleister Crowley and Anton LaVey taught Satanists should hide what they actually teach and practice. I believe these symbols, however, reveal their true agenda in plain sight. It may be easy to see these icons and dismiss the corresponding facts as coincidence. However, I believe that all these emblems present together indicate something more maleficent: they really do worship the devil. And if I’m wrong and these atheists don’t actually worship the devil, then they are sadly being used by him to accomplish his purposes. However, Jesus was revealed to defeat Satan and his works. We know He has won through the Cross of Calvary and His resurrection. Anyone who trusts in Him will be delivered from the power of Satan. “For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil” (1 John 3:8).

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints.
